Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Jersey City, New Jersey

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Background in pediatric care, preferably within school-based environments
- Experience with screening, assessment, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills and ability to consult with teachers, parents, and ancillary staff
- Comfort with SLP-related healthcare documentation and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students, identifying service needs
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy using evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and school teams to foster student progress
- Engage families in therapy planning and updates, offering guidance and resources
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare standards
