Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Newark, MD

Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services for ages PreK–3rd grade with mild to moderate needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and resources to educational staff and parents to support carryover of skills
