Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Odessa, Delaware

This in-person opportunity, located near Odessa, DE, runs from July 6, 2026, through August 6, 2026, with orientation and set-up on the first day. You’ll work Tuesday through Thursday, with some flexibility in staff hours based on assignment site. Open assignments include two Speech-Language Pathologists supporting a center-based preschool caseload, and one Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in high school and transition programs for ages 18–22.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) also considered
- Experience in pediatric school settings, early childhood, or high school/transition services strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and school-based documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students per IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Participate in team meetings and orientation activities
- Adhere to district and program protocols
