Pediatric Speech Therapist in Brooklyn, NY

A licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatrics is needed for a contract position in a K-12 school setting in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers an opportunity to work throughout the current school year (CSY) providing specialized speech and language services to students across a range of grade levels.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or certification in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous work in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
Location:
- Brooklyn, New York
- K-12 public or private school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs
- Provide direct therapy services focusing on pediatric populations
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
- Document and track student goals and achievements in compliance with school policies
