Available positions include two roles serving K-12 students, where you’ll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team across two elementary buildings, supporting both general education and students in Autistic support programs. A third role focuses on early intervention, providing services to children ages 3-5 with special education needs. Each position emphasizes personal connections and ongoing collaboration with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification and Teaching Certification (submit with application)
- Experience in school-based settings, Early Intervention, or K-12 preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 55, including students with diverse communication needs
- Willingness to engage in some case management and paperwork responsibilities as required
- CFs may apply if your agency provides required supervision support; SLPAs are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language services to assigned caseloads during regular school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm; 35 hours weekly)
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Provide both direct therapy and relevant documentation/case management
- Support students in regular education and specialized Autism programs (K-12 roles)
- Facilitate early intervention for ages 3-5, with dedicated paperwork time each week (Early Intervention role)
- Adhere to school and state guidelines for professional practice
