School Speech Language Pathologist - New Oxford, Pennsylvania
Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students onsite in engaging, collaborative educational environments near New Oxford, PA. This rewarding contract opportunity offers the chance to work with Early Intervention and K-12 populations, fostering communication skills and academic success while collaborating closely with school teams and families.
Now interviewing for three onsite SLPs across two essential roles:
Role A: Two SLPs will serve the North Eastern School District (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–3:30 pm, 35 hours/week). You’ll support a caseload of 50-55 students across Conewango Elementary and Mt. Wolf Elementary, working with general education and autism support classrooms and providing some case management.
Role B: One SLP will primarily serve Early Intervention (ages 3–5 with special education needs) in New Oxford/Gettysburg, following a year-round schedule with frequent school breaks, plus dedicated time each week for paperwork.
Ideal background:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP Certificate and Teaching Certificate (must be submitted with your resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows considered if agency supports supervision requirements
- Experience working in school settings, including with regular education, autism support, and/or early intervention populations
- Ability to work fully onsite (no virtual options currently offered)
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered practices
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and providing targeted speech/language therapy for students on your assigned caseload
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with all paperwork requirements
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Plan development
