Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity serves a K-12 population across multiple locations within a supportive district and intermediate unit environment. You'll deliver in-person speech therapy services, working closely with educators and families to ensure each student achieves their fullest communication potential.
This full-time role begins August 18, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, offering a steady weekly schedule of 35 onsite hours. Your expertise will help shape positive educational outcomes and foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for learners from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (must be submitted with resume)
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting, ideally serving K-12 students
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple district sites in a traditional, onsite (not virtual) environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and direct therapy for students district-wide
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely, accurate records and progress reports
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment across all assigned schools
