Step into a meaningful role providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity takes place onsite at a centralized K-12 learning center near York, PA, offering the chance to make a significant impact with students across all grade levels.
You will work collaboratively with education professionals and families to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' unique needs. As a contract-based position, you'll enjoy a predictable schedule with 35 hours per week, from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification submitted with resume
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt therapy methods across age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in onsite, building-wide sessions
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and specialists
- Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Consult with families and provide guidance regarding speech and language development
- Remain current with best practices and regulatory requirements in educational speech-language pathology
