Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

A great school in the New Orleans, LA, area is now looking to hire a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. This is a full time position for the full school year. Previous experience working with children is desired, but not required for this school-based job. Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, assessments and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing and language impairments.
- Provide appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students' needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation and social communication.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to implement interventions.
Experience:
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Louisiana SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CF candidates encouraged to apply)
