Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license valid in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting and working across multiple age groups (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfort with providing both group and individualized therapy, as well as developing IEP goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language assessment, intervention, and consultation services for students in Grades K-12
- Provide direct 1:1 and group therapy aligned to students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all therapy sessions, progress reports, and required compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and case conferences as needed
- Offer support and resources to families regarding speech, language, and communication development
