Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Current certification and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with school-based SLP services across K–12 (Grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12)
- Skilled in individualized and group therapy approaches
- Comfortable engaging in 1:1 interventions, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Passion for empowering students with varying needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students, including individual and small group sessions
- Administer assessments and make recommendations for services
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s learning goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and support IEP process
- Participate in professional development within the school community
