Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain it
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is highly valued
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to clear a drug screen and fingerprinting per district and agency standards
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of elementary students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate daily with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure effective interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district regulations
