A contract opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to work onsite serving school-aged students, primarily at elementary campuses west of the Mississippi. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, concluding in late May 2026. The position requires a full-time commitment—35 hours each week, following the district’s Monday through Friday schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure in Louisiana, or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged populations, is a plus
- Ability to pass district-required drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to baseline credentialing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary school students
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families on student progress and needs
- Document sessions, monitor outcomes, and maintain compliance with district guidelines
- Possibly rotate between multiple West Bank schools as assigned
