Speech Language Pathologist in New Lenox, IL
Make a meaningful impact as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a virtual role supporting students at a therapeutic day school. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- At least 2 years of recent experience working in school-based settings
- Comfortable with virtual service delivery and related technology platforms
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring for students in a therapeutic day school environment
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Offer expertise, guidance, and support as part of a multidisciplinary team
