This full-time, onsite speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity in New Kent, VA, offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 student caseload in a dynamic school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to address communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory and school district standards.
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP license required.
- Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology, including teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt therapy to meet diverse student needs.
