School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – Student Communication & Growth Specialist (2026/2027 School Year)
A school district in the New Kent, VA area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities:
Evaluate students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
Support students across a range of grade levels within the school setting
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams
Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and goal development
Experience:
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Strong teamwork and communication skills
CFY candidates and new graduates encouraged to apply
Education:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active Virginia Speech Language Pathologist License required
