Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license or eligibility to obtain in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting, supporting diverse student populations in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes and interventions for speech/language disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver speech and language therapy services to students across kindergarten through grade 12
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Provide support for classroom teachers through collaboration and consultation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success planning
- Stay updated on best practices and regulations related to school-based speech therapy
