Elementary Speech Language Pathologist in Ansonia, CT

This position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 10th, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with a total of 35 hours per week working directly with elementary school students. Candidates should have a Connecticut Teaching License and be confident working in a school environment with students in this age group. Both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid Connecticut Teaching License required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Experience serving elementary school-aged children in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to helping students reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of student progress
- Attend meetings and contribute to the IEP process as needed
