Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current State SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience with K-8 students preferred
- Skilled in working with moderate to profound communication challenges
- Proficient with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students with diverse speech and language needs
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other professionals to create effective communication plans
- Maintain accurate documentation for each student in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Utilize AAC devices and strategies to support students with significant communication deficits
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
