Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal collaboration skills
- Ability to organize schedules and adapt therapy plans for diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff
- Deliver direct and consultative therapeutic services to address each student’s unique needs
- Document progress, update records, and communicate important findings to relevant parties
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success and program improvement
- Provide support and resources to both English and Spanish-speaking students and families
