A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Waterbury, CT area, with a contract running through June 9, 2026. The position offers a 35-hour workweek, with daily hours from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered.
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut.
  • School-based SLP experience is essential.
  • District fingerprinting and background checks required.
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be accepted.
  • Flexibility to split time between two elementary schools; specific sites to be determined.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct speech-language therapy services to students in inclusive settings.
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Engaging with families and school personnel to support communication goals.
