School Speech Language Pathologist - New Caney, Texas

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but all qualified applicants are encouraged
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered assessment and intervention
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote student growth
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other special education staff
- Maintain timely, detailed documentation of services, assessments, and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success
