Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas (or ability to obtain before start)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and IEP documentation
