This contract-based opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), who’s looking for part-time consistency and the chance to be an active resource for both students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Appropriate state licensure as required for school-based practice
- Experience working with middle and transition-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and individualized speech-language therapy services to students in grades 6, 7, 8, and those transitioning beyond grade 12
- Work three consistent days per week (18 hours total), with flexibility to set which days you’ll be on-site
- Develop and implement therapy plans to support students’ communication and functional needs
- Evaluate student progress, maintain thorough records, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Attend Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings that coincide with your scheduled work days, contributing valuable insights for student education plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to foster a supportive and effective learning environment
