Skills and Experience Desired:
- Active Connecticut SLP-CCC license required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of age groups (PreK through Middle School)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and IEP documentation
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in PreK or Middle School, depending on assignment
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to foster supportive learning environments
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and learning opportunities
