Speech Language Pathologist in New Britain, CT

This full-time, contract position for the 2026-2027 school year offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 student population. You’ll provide expert support to students, teachers, and families, helping shape students’ communication skills and educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state license/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, working with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural sensitivity
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents in supporting student progress
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Offer bilingual support, bridging communication between school staff and Spanish-speaking families
