Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Waterbury, Connecticut
A contract speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized support in a high school setting. This role offers a part-time commitment of 8 hours per week, serving students in a dynamic educational environment from August 31, 2026, through June 14, 2027. The position is located in Waterbury, CT, supporting a high school caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Provide direct intervention services in person and via teletherapy as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings.
- Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
Location: Waterbury, Connecticut – Services will be provided primarily in a high school setting within the school district.
