Make a lasting impact by supporting children’s communication development through a rewarding contract position in preschool early intervention. We're seeking two passionate, flexible Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs-CCC) to provide itinerant services to young learners across Carbon and Lehigh Counties, Pennsylvania. While the main administrative office is based in Schnecksville, you’ll have the opportunity to serve students at sites throughout the region. This assignment offers a full-time, school-based schedule with the flexibility that early intervention and school-aged caseloads require.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
- Valid Pennsylvania educator credential (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or early intervention settings
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and family communication
- Willingness to adapt caseload to serve students ages PreK through 12, as assignments may shift with school year needs
- Commitment to in-person services (remote work is not available)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver itinerant speech and language services to preschool students, both individually and in small groups
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with families, classroom teachers, and support staff to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and fulfill compliance requirements
- Flex to serve school-age students if assignment changes during school year
