Step into an exciting school-based opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working closely with a diverse caseload—approximately 45 students—during the upcoming academic year. Located in a thriving educational community, your skills and expertise will be valued as you provide essential speech and language services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active SLP licensure, including CCC certification
- Proven experience in school or pediatric settings highly desired
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, delivering therapy, and collaborating with educational teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students, families, and colleagues
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and a dynamic caseload
- Commitment to professional ethics, student confidentiality, and evidence-based practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech/language therapy for elementary students
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Participate meaningfully in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff
- Maintain accurate case notes and required documentation in compliance with district standards
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs and promote maximum progress
- Support a positive and productive learning environment with compassionate, student-centered care
What to Expect:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours weekly, working weekdays (7.5-hour days)
- Assignment across campuses or schools (details to be determined based on district needs)
- Opportunity to begin the school year, from August 12, 2026, through May 25, 2027
