Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current DC SLP license required
- Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) preferred; SLPs completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, especially within school or early intervention settings
- Comfort using a range of therapeutic techniques, including both in-person and teletherapy modalities
- Strong collaboration skills to consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive, individualized care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to early intervention and elementary caseloads
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and create therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Work closely with educators and families to support language and communication goals in the classroom and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support holistic student success
