Speech and Language Pathologist - Nashville, TN
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services in an elementary school setting in Nashville, TN. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse speech and language needs, including those utilizing AAC devices. The position offers a well-structured schedule from 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for consistency in service delivery during the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee SLP license
- Tennessee teaching certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 13 students directly, and contribute to the services and IEP development for an additional 20 students
- Deliver individualized speech and language interventions tailored to a range of student needs, including AAC device users
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with accurate IEP writing to ensure compliance and student progress
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals

- Location: Nashville, TN
- Contract duration: Immediate start through End of School Year (ESOY)
- Hours: 8 AM - 3 PM, five days a week
