Qualifications and Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders (required)
- Current Illinois SLP-CCC license
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication challenges
- Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students from kindergarten through twelfth grade with speech, language, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals
- Maintain accurate documentation on assessments, treatments, and student progress
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the wider school community
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive educational environment
