Speech Language Pathologist in Muskegon, MI

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license (LARA) required
- SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY candidates welcome; supervision provided)
- Experience supporting students with speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students, both individually and in groups, according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Administer and interpret formal and informal assessments to determine student needs and measure progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive educational plans
- Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress and intervention sessions
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and problem-solving teams
- Educate and guide families and staff on best practices for supporting speech and language development
