Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Up-to-date knowledge and skills in speech and language assessments, individualized education plans (IEPs), and intervention strategies
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for middle and high school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Deliver both individual and group interventions tailored to meet a variety of communication needs
- Monitor students’ progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular updates to educational teams and families
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to collaborative planning
- Adapt techniques to meet diverse student needs within the school setting
