Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication and speech disorders
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and document student progress
- Offer consultation and strategies for classroom teachers on language development
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and staff discussions as needed
This contract position offers compensation between $55 and $70 per hour, providing a competitive rate for your expertise and commitment.
