Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Valid California SLP license (or eligible)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting specific student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input for multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services—both individual and small group—to students of various ages
- Maintain accurate progress records and ensure timely documentation
- Support and coach teachers and staff regarding speech/language strategies
- Engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process as appropriate
