School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Morgantown, Indiana

Begin your assignment on August 3rd, 2026, and conclude in late May 2027. You’ll work between 18 and 21 hours weekly, spread across 3 to 5 days, providing vital speech and language services at 2 to 3 school sites. The primary caseload consists of students in grades 2 and 3, with some interaction with younger and older children. With a total of 30 to 50 students, you’ll be instrumental in helping them achieve their communication and educational goals.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Indiana state Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required for school-based services
- Knowledge of best practices for K–12 speech/language therapy, with school SLP experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and a working understanding of providing services under students’ Individualized Education Plans
- Ability to evaluate, reevaluate, and document student progress effectively
- Competence as a Teacher of Record (TOR) or Teacher of Service (TOS) for students on your caseload, including running IEP meetings as needed
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver direct SLP services as outlined in student IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and reevaluations
- Serve as TOR/TOS, ensuring all compliance and documentation standards are met
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, advocating for appropriate student supports
