Speech-Language Pathologist in Moreno Valley, CA
An exciting opportunity awaits for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working with elementary-aged students in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and is set to run through July 20, with the strong potential for renewal in the next school year. The role centers on supporting both an auditory-oral program for deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) students and an autism program, providing a unique and rewarding variety in your day-to-day work.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative team dedicated to helping students develop vital communication skills and reach their fullest potential. The caseload is focused on elementary students, allowing you to make a significant and lasting impact during these formative years.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Background in working with DHH students and/or individuals with autism highly valued
- Strong collaboration, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention, IEP participation, and ongoing family communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to elementary students within both DHH auditory-oral and autism programs
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and families
- Support and empower students in building communication, social, and academic skills
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
