A full-time School-Based Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Montrose, CO. This contract role is an excellent opportunity for professionals holding an SLP-CCC or currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech and language evaluation, assessment, and individualized therapy to students in a school environment
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies and goals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Supporting students’ academic and social communication skills through evidence-based practices

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Speech Language Pathology License
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Flexibility to accommodate travel assignments is welcomed
