Speech and Language Pathologist in Montgomery, AL

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (ASHA certification) in Alabama
- Professional educator license for Alabama (see ALSDE Portal for verification)
- Will consider Clinical Fellows (CF) and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or interest in working with school-aged children
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 60 students
- Willingness to supervise CFs if holding CCCs
- Flexibility to support one or two school buildings as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, and record-keeping skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to IEP goals
- Complete thorough assessments and progress reports
- Develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support student success
- Supervise Clinical Fellows if CCC credential is held
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Travel between one or two school sites as assigned
