This itinerant role focuses on providing evaluation and therapy services for young children within the EI program, supported by a collaborative EI team. The position offers a contract-based assignment with a schedule of 40 hours per week, starting in August 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations for early childhood clients
- Delivering individualized therapy services as part of the EI program
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary evaluation team to support developmental goals
- Providing itinerant services across assigned locations within the district
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to program development
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or certification appropriate for school-based practice
- Eligibility to work as a Clinical Fellow (CF) is acceptable; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not considered for this role
- Experience or interest in early childhood intervention and developmental evaluation preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and responsiveness in an itinerant work setting
