Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Mojave, CA
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a middle school setting near Mojave, California. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, offering a stable and rewarding experience working directly with students to help them reach their communication goals. This full-time position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week and is primarily onsite, though temporary virtual placements (30-60 days) may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- School-based SLP experience, preferably at the middle school level
- Ability to provide a screenshot proof of current licensure and certification
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience tailoring therapy plans to diverse learning and communication needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to middle school students in individual and group settings
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and track progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, evaluations, and IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and school-related functions as needed
