Speech-Language Pathologist in Burnsville, MN
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized therapy services within an itinerant K-12 school setting. This contract position covers multiple leave absences through the end of the current school year, offering the opportunity to support students' communication development across various grade levels.
Location: Burnsville, MN
Duration: ASAP through June 11, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Environment: On-site only
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through grade 12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school district policies
- Manage multiple caseloads across different school sites as needed due to leave coverage
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 populations strongly desired
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
