Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida provisional SLP License issued by the Department of Health
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome; dedicated supervision provided
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Must complete fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Video prescreening interview required for suitability assessment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site speech-language therapy services at assigned locations within the county
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers and parents—to support student success
- Maintain accurate, timely records; document progress; and contribute to meetings as needed
- Flexibly support students across multiple campuses, with caseloads ranging from Pre-K to high school, including specialized needs (ASD, DHH, InD, Head Start)
