Speech and Language Pathologist - Milton, FL
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC required) will make a tangible impact on young learners. This full-time, on-site position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, working closely with elementary students and supporting their communication and educational success. You'll enjoy collaborating within a dedicated educational team while utilizing your clinical skills to enhance students’ language, speech, and social interaction abilities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and active SLP licensure and CCC credentials (no IVP fingerprint card required)
- Previous experience with elementary-aged (K-5) students in school settings strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Capacity to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, adapting to their diverse needs
- Confident in providing both group and individual sessions; comfortable participating in IEP meetings
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals in partnership with staff and families
- Deliver direct therapy and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all district compliance standards
