Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience supporting high school students and some exposure to elementary caseloads
- Proficiency in delivering teletherapy services and using virtual platforms for assessment and intervention
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy to assigned students, focusing primarily on high school with some elementary students as needed
- Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and work with educational staff to support student outcomes
- Communicate regularly with families and teachers to facilitate student growth and engagement
- Adapt interventions to fit a virtual learning environment and students’ unique needs
