Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an SLP, CFY, or SLPA in Delaware
- Experience or strong interest in working with high school aged students
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families
- Dedication to building rapport and supporting diverse learners
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and intervention services to high school students
- Develop and implement IEPs, therapy plans, and progress reports
- Partner with special education teams to address students’ needs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and participate in eligibility determinations
- Maintain clear and accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Offer support and resources to teachers and families regarding communication strategies
This position offers flexibility in work hours, allowing you to choose a full-time or part-time schedule based on your needs, with up to 35 hours per week available. You’ll work at just one school, fostering deeper connections with staff and students.
