Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid and current CCC-SLP credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings
- Skilled in working with children with autism and tailoring interventions to individual needs
- Comfort managing a diverse caseload of K-5 students
- Strong communication abilities for building relationships with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, organized, and ready to work across two nearby locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, supporting students with a range of needs
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students and staff regarding communication strategies
- Travel between two neighboring sites as part of the regular schedule
