Speech Language Pathologist in Dover, DE
A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school location in Dover, DE. This contract role focuses on delivering speech therapy services within the school setting during the 2026–2027 school year, Monday through Friday, at 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Attend IEP and team meetings
- Collect and maintain progress monitoring data
- Document therapy notes accurately and timely
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Delaware licensure/certification as an SLP is required
- Proven experience working as a school-based SLP
- Skilled in conducting evaluations and writing IEPs
- Familiarity with educational tools such as Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the on-site location
Additional Details:
- Grade levels and caseload will be determined
- Position starts for the 2026–2027 school year
- Multiple openings may be available
- Candidates must verify active Delaware licensure before submission
- Note: Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will not be considered
