Full-time schedules offer 7.5-hour days, Monday through Friday, and there is openness to hybrid arrangements, though in-person therapy is preferred.
The ideal candidates will:
- Hold a valid Indiana SLP license (ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellows are welcome; supervision for CFs provided)
- Demonstrate experience with school-aged children, especially in preschool and elementary settings
- Exhibit a passion for inclusive, student-centered speech and language interventions
- Adapt effectively to in-person and hybrid service models
- Communicate efficiently with faculty, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Excel in documentation and progress monitoring
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct therapy to students to promote communication skills
- Developing and implementing IEPs in collaboration with educators and caregivers
- Assessing speech, language, and communication needs using recognized evaluation tools
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing progress notes and reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to team-based interventions
- Staying current with best practices in speech-language pathology for school settings
