Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract position in Metairie, LA. This role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services to students across multiple grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The job offers the opportunity to work primarily in a one-on-one setting, supporting individual student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals
- Provide direct 1:1 speech therapy sessions to students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development

- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
